Turley’s Duarte Contra Costa County Zinfandel is a great wine with briary black cherry, coffee and smoky aromas plus blueberry, spice, pepper and licorice flavors. Strong oak and licorice flavors are evident on the wonderfully long finish. All our Zinfanatics tasters loved this wine and ranked it in the top three of our Contra Costa County Zinfandel tasting. Some tasters observed prune, raspberry, plum and vanilla characteristics in this wine.

I love the Turley wines and Duarte is consistently one of their best.
