The Renwood Old Vine Zinfandel from Amador County is an enjoyable light to medium textured wine with black cherry, raspberry, spice and pepper aromas and flavors. The wine seems simple at first, but adds complexity given more time to breathe. Some Zinfanatics detected strawberry, licorice and chocolate flavors.
