The Plungerhead Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley is a tremendous wine with intriguing blackberry, cassis, smoky and spice aromas and flavors. Some tasters described raspberry, leather, cinnamon, bay leaf, chocolate and caramel notes. The complexity and variety of characteristics along with a nice long finish made this the favorite Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel for more than half of our Zinfanatics. A great value given the quality and moderate price.
